WordPress 5.0 Introduces a new editor<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][image_with_animation image_url=”9302″ alignment=”” animation=”Fade In” border_radius=”none” box_shadow=”none” max_width=”100%” margin_top=”15″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1544139188858{margin-top: 30px !important;}”]As of WordPress 5.0, a new editor known as the “block editor” (formerly\u00a0Gutenberg) is included by default. It replaces the familiar text editor and will also override the Salient page builder. So what now?<\/h2>\n[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The WPBakery page builder plugin is much more powerful and intuitive than the block editor and will continue to be the page builder of Salient. We’ve released an update which allows you to continue to use the Salient WPBakery page builder post WordPress 5.0.<\/p>\n

To\u00a0get compatibility, you must update your version of Salient to the\u00a0current version<\/a>\u00a0(10.0)<\/strong>\u00a0and Salient WPBakery page builder plugin to the current version\u00a0(5.6)<\/strong>.
