Using The Widgets
After installing and activating the Salient Widgets plugin, you can assign the newly available widgets in Appearance > Widgets.
Nectar Popular Posts
The popular posts widget will query for the most popular posts on your site. You can choose how these are selected by the following:
- Highest Total Views
- Highest Total Comments
Additionally, you can select the timeline which will be used in the query:
- All time
- Posts published within the last 7 days
- Post published within the last 30 days
- Post published within the last year
Nectar Recent Posts Extra
The Nectar Recent Posts Extra will display your most recently published posts. It works similar to the core WordPress recent posts widget, but extends upon it by providing the option to limit the posts to specific categories and additionally offers multiple styles to choose from.
